After Mrs. Tinn returned, Chris Tinn also added a remark, "There's some truth to what William Cole said. I've had those mushroom powders poured down the drain."
"You should stop using it too, just to be on the safe side."
"Alright, alright, I know," Mrs. Tinn responded with a face full of displeasure.
Knowing he couldn't convince his wife, Chris Tinn just shook his head and sighed, "Okay, I'm heading to work now."
"If you get hungry, have Aunt Brews make you some noodles. Don't go out to play poker this afternoon, just rest at home."
"I'll come see you after I finish work in the afternoon."
"Fine," Mrs. Tinn said in response, but inside, she was already planning to play cards with her friends that afternoon.
Staying at home was far too boring; it was no place for a person to be.
As soon as Chris Tinn had stepped out the door, Mrs. Tinn took out her phone and dialed her card-playing friends: "Hurry up, let's get started at my place."
