The guard made a face once he realised that Sui could not prove who she was to him.

"Kid, let's head inside now. There is no way we can win against an imperial guard. We can try to go out again after a while."

The lady helping Sui whispered in her ear, and Sui knew that it would be the best course of action.

But she did not want to head back in. 

Sui wanted to find Princess Yunjin and be back by her side. Being this far away made Sui feel alone.

"Hurry up inside, both of you. I don't want to get in trouble for letting you both go when my order is to catch ay defaulter."

The guard tried to pat Sui on the head, but she caught his arm and forced it away from her head.

Sui's face showed her displeasure, and the guard looked taken aback by it. But he tried his hardest not to show his disappointment because of Sui's looks of anger.

The newly married female pulled Sui until they reached her house, and the door slammed shut.
