章節 72: Chapter 71
Everyone watching stared in shock as they looked at Elden.
The guy who came in regular clothes talked with the wizard king and considers him a friend was the king of the Diamond kingdom.
The knights who were going to participate in the tournament stood there in shock. They didn't expect this.
Not only that, but even they felt Elden's power.
The black bulls already knew this so they didn't react as much.
Langris on the other hand was shocked to the core. The man in front of him is more powerful than him and uses the same magic as him and his brother.
He doesn't know the full capabilities of Elden but he didn't think that there was such a wide margin between them.
The clover king was still on the ground in shock. He couldn't even stand properly. Even though his magic knights would protect it did nothing to ease him in feeling inferior to Elden in every way.
Combined with Julius who the public says should be the king of the clover kingdom he questions why he is here.
* clap * * clap *
" Alright, everyone. I think that's enough chit-chat. Let's begin with the exam. " Julius said.
" Oi. " Zora called out. Julius just looked at him and sighed.
Elden looked at Zora.
" Are you another royal? " Zora asked.
" Nope. I may be king now but was a commoner at birth. " Elden said seriously.
Zora stared at him in shock. He could tell that Elden had trained to get to where he was.
Asta was in a similar situation. Elden was living proof that even being a commoner, he could still be the wizard king.
Except for the fact he doesn't know that Elden, killed all of the royals and even the king.
But it's better for them to not know.
" But with that said and done, let's get one with the exam. " Elden said.
" Yes. Alright, Marx tell the first teams to get into position. " Julius said ad he and Elden went to sit on some chairs.
The battles went exactly like the plot as Elden just watched.
He didn't really get involved much until it was Finral vs Langris.
The fight ended as Langris was about to finish off Finral. The black bulls of course stopped him in a badass way.
Elden teleported him and Julius down to them to stop them.
Julius told them to wait as they can start the fight now and settle things.
Elden said nothing as he just looked amused at the whole situation.
" And what are you looking so amused for a commoner? " Langris yelled as he pointed at Elden.
At that moment, everyone had one collective thought.
' That guy fucked up. '
Elden just raised an eyebrow at Langris and stayed quiet. He was interested in what bullshit Langris would come with anyway.
" Even if you are king you will always be a commoner. If you managed to become king that just means everyone in your kingdom is useless.
Why are you even king? If you can be king then I should just take your position. " Langris said.
" Hahahahahahahahah... " Elden laughed as he held his stomach.
His laughter was contagious as Julius also started to chuckle. Asta just laughed out loud.
Soon everyone starts doing it. Langris stared in shock at them laughing.
Gritting his teeth in anger, he released his mana into the air to shit most of them up.
Julius and Elden were not affected but they were on guard as they looked at Langris.
" You dare mock me? A commoner dares to mock me. A loser like you. " Langris yelled.
Langris screamed as he gathered his magic to attack Elden.
The other knights watched as Langris got ready to attack. They wanted to see what Elden could do.
Rill just stared as he thought one thing.
' I wonder what spell he's going to use this time. This might give me some inspiration. '
Julius wasn't even worried. So was Marx. Even the black bulls who were protecting Finral just stared at this event.
They went even scared. They knew for a fact that Elden would destroy Langris. They just didn't know how and it excited them.
" Ssssshhhhhhhhiiiiiiiiiinnnnnnnaaaa... " Langris yelled as he launched all his attacks at Elden.
Elden did nothing as he stares at those attacks. He could cancel them out but...
'Let's give them a show. '
Raising his hand as the attacks came to him, he crossed his middle finger over his index finger.
" Domain expansion: Infinite void. "
Langris attacks got canceled as he stared in front of him.
He soon stared into a void. He couldn't move a muscle.
No that wasn't correct. He was doing everything.
Julius, Asta, Marx, the other black bulls stared at Elden as he walked towards Langris. They could move but only because Elden made it that way.
Elden just looked at Langris. He looked at him with cold eyes. Langris felt fear envelope him.
" So tell me, how does it feel to be beaten by a commoner? Don't worry You can tell me after you lose your next battle. "
" Got it loser. "
