章節 36: I was on another call

Just as Chad said, he came to the company the next day. He had a few talks with Mason before turning to Tessy. They talked for a while before he finally left.

During their talk, Tessy told him things of what happened when they were in school but never mentioned the part of them ever dating. She looked at Mason who had been glaring at Chad. She chuckled and walked up to him.

"Were you jealous again?" She asked.

"Only a little." He said and stood up. "Then why did you date him?"

"I was simply paying off my debt." She said.

"So he never touched you?" He asked and she shook her head. "Not even hold hands?" He asked again, this time fully surprised.

"He knew that he couldn't mess with me and also knew that I didn't like contact with people, so he respected my condition and didn't try to act funny." She explained and wanted to leave but he asked further.
