章節 67: Sensational Series

Lumiose City

Death, who was accompanying Diantha, sat in a meeting with the biggest movie production company in Kalos.

"Miss Diantha, I am surprised to hear that you wanted to meet us." The President of the Company acknowledged "What did you want to pitch to us?"

"Actually, Mr. Applegate, it is my friend here who has something to show you."Diantha acknowledged and gestured at Death.

"Thank you." Death said to Diantha and looked at the President "I've prepared a video presentation." he turned towards the television and hit play, and a shattered moon appeared on the screen, leading into a live-action version of the Red Trailer from RWBY, with Ruby approaching her mothers grave, 'Thus Kindly We Scatter' and 'Summer Rose' prominently written on the grave underneath a decorative rose.

While the red-hooded girl knelt by the grave, the scene changed to the woods, where the sound of many creatures moving through the woods, but unseen, was heard. Red like Roses Part 1, which had been playing, seamlessly transferred into Red Like Roses Part 2 as it showed the red-hooded girl get up and start walking away from the clearing, and the appearance of hundreds of Beowolves entering it as well was revealed.

These were proper beowolves rather then the concept beowolves that had been in the original animated version of the trailer, The lyrics kicked in as one of the Beowolves tried to attack the little girl, who burst into rose petals and disappeared, and then the fighting began.

In real life it was even more epic then watching it as an animated cartoon, and the producers were shocked by her reappearance in the air and the reveal of Crescent Rose in gun form as she started slaughtering Beowolves brutally. The slaughter became even more brutal when Crescent Rose mecha-shifted into Scythe form, and even more brutal when she sped up, using her semblance to travel to enemies and only reforming herself in the instant before her attacks struck.

Hundred of Beowolves were slaughtered in fifteen seconds, and a tired looking, but uninjured, Ruby Rose, soon found herself along in the clearing as the last of the beowolves were dissolving into nothingness.

The screen soon transitioned to four girls figured blacked out with the letters R, W, B, and Y above them. The R was then revealed to be the girl from the trailer that they had just watched.

"How did you pull off such special effects?" the President asked with shock.

"There are three more trailers." Death insisted as the screen went black and words soon appeared on it. The words said 'Everyone is entitled to their own sorrow, for the heart has no metrics or form of measure. And all of it...irreplaceable.'

Following that, they watched real versions of the other three trailers, revealing Weiss, Blake, and finally Yang and causing their appearances to appear on the same screen Ruby had appeared on. Each was a longer, more comprehensive version of the original trailer, and was followed with the Volume one opening with a 20 second part of the song 'This will be the day' playing in it, altogether taking forty-eight minutes to watch it all. He had replaced the Rooster Teeth logo with 'Remnant Production'written in front of a shattered moon.

"So, are you willing to broadcast this?" Death asked as he turned off the television.

"This...is quite the exceptional proof of concept, and the actresses are indeed stunning." The President agreed "Especially the girl in white. Her voice can compete easily with the Kalos Queen, Aria."

"Did she sing all of the songs in these trailers?" one of the producers asked.

"Yes. Or she was one of the singers in each of them." Death confirmed. He could have used Casey Lee William's version of the songs, but he had instead had his wife Weiss re-record them, since he didn't want to have to explain who the singer was. Weiss's voice, while beautiful, was not in reality the same as Casey Lee Williams, so it was just easier to rerecord all the songs.

Additionally, Velvet ended up picking up singing as well under Weiss's tutelage, and was the secondary singer in Red Like Roses, and Yuki (his daughter with Weiss) and Iris (His daughter with Neo), joined Velvet in back-up vocals on other songs.

Asher (his eldest son by Amber) was also an incredible teacher who had been trained by Weiss since he was a child, and had provided vocals to a few songs, though there were still some songs he hadn't re-recorded yet due to being outside of Asher's current vocal range. He was training under Weiss and was getting much better, but still wasn't to his satisfaction where he'd personally record them.

He could auto-tune his lyrics, but planned to wait until he absolutely needed to record the songs and get as much practice as possible beforehand, so less auto-tuning would be necessary. "If we add commercial breaks, this could function as an entire first episode. I can provide you with 29 episodes to flush out the first volume of RWBY, each episode 48 to 50 minutes long to fit into an hour long timeslot with commercial breaks." he wasn't kidding either. Due to his system, he was able to see many events that were not included in Volume one that made decent episodes on their own, though volume one still ended with 'The Stray' and 'Black and White', though they were both much more flushed out then the animated episodes, because his system was just awesome.

"How many Volumes have you planned out?" the President seemed genuinely interested.

"Twelve...." Death answered plainly "In fact, they have already been recorded and just have some editing to do and songs to compose and include into the episodes."

"What was that video at the end of the trailers?" Another producer asked.

"That is the episode opening for Volume 1. I plan to have the first episode of every volume start the episode right off the bat and include. Each Volume will be 30 episodes, and by the time you play each of the 30 episodes in volume 1, I'll have a couple more volumes ready for you." Death insisted.

The 8 episodes of Volume 1 after these trailers (episodes 2-9) were actually focused on Ruby and Yang, with their relationship with their father and their 'Uncle Qrow' while attending Signal Academy. Their mother was not really mentioned, save for Ruby having a picture of Summer Rose and often staring at it with a forlorn expression. These episodes also revealed the existence of Faunus in the periphery, and saw humans discriminating against them, though Ruby and Yang never treated them poorly, and they even vented to their father and uncle about the idiots that bullied faunus. These episodes feature Yang heading to Vale and Ruby heading to a store called 'From Dust Til Dawn' in Vale to check out some weapons magazines there, which she does every month, and eventually shows Ruby leaving and going to meet Yang, and finding her outside of Junior's club. They end with Yang again going to Vale the evening before her first day at Beacon, and Ruby again heading to From Dust Til Dawn. It ominously shows Roman Torchwick and goons hired from Junior's place approaching the same shop.

Episode 10 to 12 went to Weiss and showed her messed up childhood, her poor relationship with her mother, father, and brother, Winter leaving to join the Atlas Military and getting disowned by their father, and her gradual descent from a charming young girl to one jaded and not trusting of people easily. It included her bad experiences with boys only interested in her for her name, and her fear of falling into a state similar to her mothers, and ended with her earning the right to attend Beacon, but at the cost of getting a scar.

Episode 13 opened with Roman Torchwick and Juniors goons robbing some dust shops and eluding the Vale PD, before cutting to Blake in Vale, staying with Tukson and working in his book store as she waited for the initiation into Beacon. Finally it cut to Ruby in From Dust Til Dawn and Roman and the goons trying to rob the place, and Ruby. Ruby fought them like in the show, and it was somewhat brutal, but at least not lethal. She seemed to be trying not to kill at least.

The arrival of Glynda Goodwitch still happened, along with the meeting with Ozpin, and Ruby's invitation to Beacon, though again there was much more detail included, with the real police not at all happy with her 'vigilantism', but forced to back down after Ozpin had arrived, which was the first indication of how important he was, apart from the fact that he was the voice of one of the two narrators that appeared occasionally. The other was Salem, though they did not know that yet.

Episode 14 to 30 covered the rest of the time period of the first season, just with a few more events that were not included in the original story.

"You'll need to invest a fair amount of time into watching all of these episodes, but I think that you'll find the show definitely worthy of your time" Death insisted.

------

After leaving the meeting with Diantha, she and Death went on a nice date at Café Soleil before heading back to Diantha's place where they could watch more of the episodes that he had left with the company he had pitched them too.

Unlike the station that they were given too, Diantha understood that these were true events from another world, so she was very curious about the show as well. She ended up snuggling with him and watching the episodes in her free time, and after a week she had seen the whole first volume, and a couple weeks later the first episode was released online to tease the release of the show beginning in one month.

He had already designed and started creating action figures of Team RWBY and Team JNPR, as well as other paraphernalia to sell for the franchise. He had made sure to retain merchandising rights for the show to make sure he'd have plenty of Pokkén while in this world without screwing up the economy through saturating the market with too much wealth that he created from nowhere.

------

Death had spent a three more weeks on Seafoam Island with Serena, Leaf, Esdeath, and Valerie after Ash had gotten the Marsh Badge from Sabrina, but now they were back at Cinnabar Island so that he and Leaf could challenge the gym leader here. As they walked past a toy store, Death happened to spot the action figures for Team RWBY and Team JNPR being sold, along with other toys. There was even a little girl with a replica of Crescent Rose wearing a red cloak and pretending to swing it at monsters.

It appeared that in the Pokémon World, something like the RWBY series that he was releasing, was likely to become a huge sensation. Death was fine with that, since it was filling his pockets with wealth, and they didn't need to know that the story was real.

Of course, if they started wondering if it was real, then all he had to do was let Penny make a public appearance since she was clearly alive and clearly human, at least now. Likewise, his Pyrrha was still alive, so once she 'died' in the series, her continued life would lead others to assuming it was all fiction, rather then the tale of a parallel version of Remnant.

Death's companions also recognized the action figures and he knew that they would ask him about them later, but he did not mind telling them about it.

Celadon City - POV Ruby Rose

Ruby had arrived in Celadon City and was waiting near the eastern entrance to the city when Ash, Brock and Misty approached. Due to Ruby being physically 17 years old when she stopped aging, Brock did not rush over and flirt with her, since he assumed that she was too young to be in his strike zone, but he might have reconsidered if he knew her actual age.

"Good afternoon" Ash greeted Ruby in a friendly manner.

"Hello" Ruby answered cheerfully.

"Are you waiting here for someone?" Ash asked.

Before Ruby could answered, a little girl rushed over to Ruby excitedly "I can have your autograph?" she asked timidly.

The little girl wore a red-hooded cloak, similar to Ruby's, and seemed both excited and nervous. Ruby chuckled and knelt near the little girl and gently pinched her tiny cheeks "Sure, I'll give you an autograph." she agreed before accepting the pad and pen that the girl offered and signed her name as 'Ruby Rose' before handing it back to the girl.

"Thank you!" the girl said happily before running back to her mother happily calling out that she got an autograph,

"You're a celebrity?" Misty asked with surprise.

"It's pretty new, but yeah, that seems to be the case" Ruby verified.

"What are you doing standing around here?" Misty asked with confusion.

"Death!" Ruby suddenly saw him approaching from behind Ash, Misty and Brock, and rushed over to hug him.

Death returned the hug "Hello Ruby. How are you enjoying being outside of Lyonesse?"

"I've had to sign a lot of autographs, but it was worth it to spend some time with you" Ruby insisted, then looked back at the trio "Hello, I am Ruby Rose."

"You're related to Death? You look nothing alike" Misty seemed shocked.

"It's a secret, but Ruby here is one of my wives." Death insisted nonchalantly "I think I can trust you three, but if anyone else asks the 'official' relationship is adopted siblings."

"That's not even a lie either. My mom did adopt him into the family when he was young, and we married when we got older." Ruby admitted "So there is no blood relation even though we grew up together as basically siblings."

"So what brings you back to Celadon City? Haven't you already won the badge here?" Misty asked Death with curiosity.

He was, of course, an Avatar that had been secretly watching and babysitting Ash, Misty and Brock, but he wasn't going to answer like that "I am here to meet and spend the day with Ruby here." he insisted "That's why she was waiting here for me. If you want to take on Erika, though, Ash, don't insult perfume. The gym trainers are likely to turn you away if they think you are a 'barbarian' that doesn't properly appreciate perfume. Even if it is a lie, while you are in Celadon City pretend that you like it."

Ash nodded in understanding "Okay. Thanks for the suggestion"

Grasping Ruby's hand, Death started leading her into the City to take her out shopping for whatever she want, intending to spoil her today. Even though only the first episode of the new show, which was basically just 48 minutes of all the extended and badass trailers, was up for people to see online so far, the hype was already insane and he was making lots of money on merchandizing, so he could afford to spoil Ruby today.

------

Ash, Misty and Brock headed to the Celadon City Pokémon Center and overheard people repeatedly talking about 'Ruby Rose' being in town and how awesome she was. Having been on the road a while, they had not heard of her, so once they got to the Pokémon Center they used one of the computers and looked up her name online, which brought them to the episode, which they watched, and were fairly shocked about.

The girl from before was clearly the same as the 'Ruby Rose' in the episode/trailer they watched, but she seemed a couple years younger in the episode that they had just watched.

"Wow, the editing on those videos is incredible, but why is the moon in the four trailers in that state?" Misty asked.

"It's a fantasy setting with science and stuff" A girl insisted smugly as she answered Misty "The setting is another world, called Remnant, and the monsters in the first two sections of the episode are called Grimm. Ruby fought a bunch of Beowolves, while Weiss Schnee, she's my favorite, fought a Geist grimm that possessed the huge suit of armor, according to the notes the station put up." she was swinging around a toy rapier that was a replica of Weiss's Myrtenaster.

Suddenly other young people in the Pokémon Center started arguing over which of the four girls from the episode was the coolest.

It's pretty far off, but the next world to win in the poll was Sword Art Online, meaning that once I finish polls for harem candidates for the rest of the Pokemon region polls, I'll start on the SAO polls.

Sword Art Online - Asuna (Yuuki Asuna - Guaranteed)

Alfheim Online - Leafa (Kirigaya Suguha - Guaranteed)

Gun Gale Online - Sinon (Asada Shino - Guaranteed)

Underworld - Alice Zuberg (Guaranteed), Selka Zuberg (Eventually Guaranteed)

Sword Art Online - Silica (Ayano Keiko), Rain (Karatachi Nijika), Koharu (Honda Koharu), Argo (Hosaka Carina Tomo), Sachi (? Sachi), Yuna (Shigemura Yuuna), Lisbeth (Shinozaki Rika), Philia (Takemiya Kotone), Yolko (Yoruko), Yui

Alfheim Online - Yuuki (Konno Yuuki), Siunn (An Si-eun), Alicia Rue (Arisha Rū), Sakuya (? Sakuya), Strea-MHCP002 (Strea)

Gun Gale Online - Pitohui (Kanzaki Elsa), Afasys (Afashisu), Premiere & Tia, Kureha (Takamine Momiji)

Underworld - Alicia Klingerman, Cardinal, Frenica Szeski, Ronie Araberu & Tiese Shtolienen, Sortiliena Serlut

Note that characters listed above are revealed in order of their first appearance, and may potentially appear in future polls depending on certain factors. Sachi and Yuna, for example, will only appear in the SAO poll, since if left to their own devices they both end up dying. Konno Yuuki, similarly, will only appear in the Alfheim poll since she'll die if not added to the harem. Of course, he would still be able to resurrect her through his system, though he isn't able to resurrect Yuna in that matter.

Now, the top two in each poll will be added to the harem by the will of the readers will be add to the harem, meaning potentially up to three more girls may be added.

Premiere & Tia are NPC's and twins that will appear in GGO, while Ronie Araberu & Tiese Shtolienen are best friends, and these two duo's will be voted for as a pair, so if they are in the top two of their respective votes, it'll be possible to add three.

For the most part I only selected one for each of the four main arcs listed above, woth Selka (Alice's sister) following and joining the harem further down the road, likely in another world.
