章節 37: Complaints Here
Okay, so 36 chapters in, and I've been going through the comments to you know, thank those who deserve, correct some and clarify some misunderstandings, but I'm intentionally creating this 'chapter' to clarify the misunderstandings once and for all.
1. The first issue now is that, some readers don't like the new version of the MC. One reader even said the Mac was a character that people grew to like, which I honestly disagree after all, even I hated the character. I already addressed it in the comments so let me make it clear
The whole point for that naive, dumb and foolish character was just to pave way for future versions of himself along his route of development. Also, imagine taking a beloved character like Gojo Satoru and then imprisoning and torturing him for 5 billion years in prugatory. I doubt he's going to stay the same adorable character that we all like right?
I think the MC's character now perfectly reflects whatever torture and pain he experienced in purgatory, so I'm sorry if you guys don't like what he is now.
2. About the MC's abilities. The only thing I've mentioned so far is that, he lost all of his abilities with the exception of his immortality. Wheel's adaptation to me, isn't really an ability that he actively controls so when I say his abilities, the adaptation isnt really his own. The only reason why he survived in there was because wheel fused with him becoming his very soul and his immortality that kept revitalising his body all the time.
As for the new slashing attacks, if you guys follow closely, you'll notice that when Samael gifted him the blade, he mentioned something crucial.
That, at a certain level of mastery, it would be possible to mimic the slashing effects of the blade. Meaning that, the slashing isn't really something he developed on his own, rather continuous training in purgatory made him quickly master the blade and achieve this level of effect.I thought you guys were going to figure it out.
I was going to mention all of this in consequent chapters, but its important to clear all misunderstandings befor proceeding.
Now, rather than complaining that Ive nerfed him, in fact I think you guys should look forward to an OP character. Because, when wheel was outside his body, he gained the power of adaptation, what ability is he going to gain now that wheel is inside him that gives him confidence to go against Multiversal beings?
