Thankfully, the man had turned his head to look out of the window, giving Penny the chance to use the kerchief on her face, neck, and the sides of her head. The rain had soaked her clothes and hair, causing a slight headache. Although the windows were closed, now that she was sheltered from the rain, a shiver ran over her skin.
She hugged herself, unaware that the man, despite facing the window, was watching her through its reflection.
The kerchief quickly became wet, and she said, "Thank you for the kerchief and for picking me up. The rain was pouring so heavily, I wasn't sure how long it would take me to get back."
"It's my pleasure to assist you. I believe we haven't properly introduced ourselves last time," he replied, offering his hand once more, "I am Robarte Varreran."
