Lin Qiuyue paused for a while before she continued.
"My mom begged him countless times but he never even glanced at her, instead he got married to his mistress. Since my mom couldn't finish paying the debt, the Qin matriarch made a proposal to my mom and told her to marry me off to the second young master of the Qin family. My mom was hesitant but I managed to convince her to let me marry him because even though she tried her best not to show it, I knew that she was tired and depressed. I couldn't bear to see her in that state"
"I've about the second young master of the Qin family. According to my dad he's the most richest, powerful and influential person in the whole of L country. He's not an easy person at all. I heard that he's very dangerous person.....but since you were his wife, didn't he helps you at all?" Bai Mei asked keenly.
"Yes I was his wife but not in the way everybody thinks"
"I don't understand.....what do you mean?" Bai Mei out of confusion.
"My marriage to Qin Yuchen was just to bear his children....nothing more than that.... when I thought that I had more rights I tried to persuade him to help my mom but Qin Yuchen made sure he reminded me of my status and it was a bitter experience.....that's when I realized that I was nothing more than a breeding machine to him." Lin Qiuyue's heart was bleeding as she thought back to what happened a year ago. That night, she made a terrible mistake and she paid dearly for it.
"Does he know that you are here?" Bai Mei asked with tears in her eyes.
Lin Qiuyue smiled as she wiped the tears from her eyes.
"I'm not sure he knew if I was pregnant...." Lin Qiuyue paused and said with a sorrowful heart.
"I just wanted to to be with my three children....I want to hold my son and my daughters."
Seeing that her situation was far wore than hers, Bai Mei didn't know how to comfort her so she casually asked.
"What are their names?." Immediately she heard that question, Lin Qiuyue started laughing
"I... I don't know" Lin Qiuyue answered.
"What?!!" Bai Mei exclaimed.
"My children were always taken away from me after birth.....I'm not allowed to see them at all...they don't even know if I exist". Bai Mei couldn't hold it any longer and hugged her. She has been through so much these past few years and it seemed to be getting worse.
"Don't worry you'll definitely see your children" Bai Mei assured even though she knew that it might not be possible but she still had to comfort Lin Qiuyue and give her hope. Lin Qiuyue hugged her back and nodded as her tears increased. Few minutes later, they could hear the sound of bells ringing non stop.
"What's that?" Lin Qiuyue asked.
