"How did it come to this..." Ori mutters in complete despair...

"Stop being a baby and deal with it. You can cup my ass but you can't handle this?" Rebecca shouts from within the dressing room.

"You still on that?" he questions, slowly scanning his surroundings with a fixed expression. No man should have to experience this kind of humiliation... He'd handled it with his sister when they were younger... But now?

The looks other women in the female clothing store sent him stabbed in all the wrong ways. This was like throwing a fish into a volcano, the anthesis to his natural habitat...

"Be quiet! I can hear you brooding from here!"

"Our deal said that you wanted me to help you pick out clothes, no one said anything about enjoying it!"

"Let's see you enjoy this then!" she states, stepping out from behind the curtain in her new outfit... Or at least, what she considered an 'outfit'. Since Rebecca's usual clothes consisted of thin black underwear under a jacket, he wasn't surprised when he saw her.

Pale green booty shorts and a tank top that barely displayed some underboob, well, since she was almost as flat as a billboard it showed the outline of her pectoral... Almost immediately the whispers of nearby women reached him, prompting him to lower his head in a vain attempt to avoid their eyes.

"Well?" she gives a few poses, most attempting to increase how big her bust looked.

"I think you'd look better with clothes on." he deadpans.

She glares at him, "What's that supposed to mean? You think my body's ugly?" she asks as she steps over to where he was sat.

"That's a trap question and I refuse to answer it." he diplomatically says.

"Hmph! As far as I'm concerned there's only two answers... You either like my body, or you don't..." she leans forwards, almost pushing her chest to his nose.

"Why're we doing this, Rebecca?" he questions, resting his head on the pillar-mounted mirror behind him.

She folds her arms, "Because you lost the bet, obviously."

"I mean, why did you choose this," he gestures around the store, "Specifically." he already suspected what it was but... His feelings for Rebecca were complicated... He wouldn't be able to give her an answer even if forced to. Besides, he was still crushing on someone else, Christy...

Rebecca huffs at the question, "You ain't dumb, you really gonna ask a girl that?"

He lets out a sigh, "So you really-"

"Hold it right there mister and shut your trap! Don't ask that question because I ain't answering it!" she points between herself and him, "Right now we're just buds, chooms, whatever you wanna call it." she then prods him in the forehead with her finger, "I'm testing the waters, seein' if there's anything behind this thick skull of yours. So, until you grow the balls to ask me yourself or something else happens, shut up and enjoy the show I'm giving you on what was supposed to be a lost bet!" she states, spinning around and heading back into the dressing room.

Ori rubs his forehead while awkwardly staring at the curtains, "Huh... I guess I was acting dumb..." he mutters to himself, shaking his head and getting to his feet.

Rebecca steps out of the dressing room in a new outfit, but pauses at Ori's absence... She scowls and kicks the floor, wondering if Six would but upset if she found their teammate and put a bullet in his ass... Who abandons a girl like this, huh!? "That two-bit no-good ass hole!"

"Who's pissed you off now?" a familiar voice asks as it approaches.

She turns and angrily stomps on the ground, "The douchebag I came with le-... What, get cold feet runnin' off?" she questions as she links the voice to Ori.

He crooks a brow and tosses a paper shopping bag at her. "You're not gonna bribe me!" she states while opening it up, contrary to her words however her eyes instantly soften. She pulls out a dark pink jacket and looks it over, "This for me...?" she whispers. (Looks like this but slightly longer and pink : shorturl.at/inx03 )

Ori shrugs, "Figured picking something I think you'd actually like would work better than whatever we were doing. Matches your eyes and tats, and'll stop creeps from staring at your ass... Most of the time at least."

"You already bought it?" she asks as she puts it on, noting how it ended below her mid-thigh.

"Yeah, got enough pockets for all your ammo too-" he pauses when she hugs him, direly aware of the thin underwear she was wearing as his knee brushes past the coat and towards more sensitive areas. His thoughts are drawn away when she lets out a slight sniffle however, "A-are you crying...?" he worriedly asks.

"N-no! S-something's just caught in my eye!..." she wipes her eyes and looks up at him, "T-this is the best gift anyone's ever gotten me!" she says, squeezing the hug tighter, not explaining that it might even be the first gift she'd gotten... Pilar wasn't exactly charitable, even to his sister...

He opens his mouth a couple times to answer but finds himself failing, on the fourth try she interrupts him however, "S-shut up... Just let me get this outta my system..."

...

She squeezes him a couple more times, each one becoming tighter as if a python was trying to constrict him... Until finally she relents, stomping on his foot and letting him go before charging back into the dressing room. "This don't mean anything!"

"Really? I thought we were chooms? That means a lot to me." he says rubbing his foot, only to smirk when he hears her trip over herself.

The rest of the hangout continues smoothly, Ori helping her pick out a couple outfits(underwear sets) before making a last stop at a burger place. After that, they each head home, concluding the 'not-date'.
