'What didn't believe me?' Alex teased the admiral after the man tested the extent of the damage on the ground. "Yeah yeah laugh it up , this is serious sid. You put a hole in the ground from a single drop of that stuff so I am understandably concerned." the man said with frown. 'Emergencies only old man and last I checked if it's an emergency for me you are already likely dead so relax will you.' Alex said with a throaty chuckle. "Gee thanks for the vote of confidence." the large man said sarcastically but still smiled.-

After that Alex broke down the whole encounter with the lava monster as well as how the volcano it was living in simply no longer existed. The commander had a few questions regarding the level of damage and collateral to the environment Alex flatly said that that area would likely be a wasteland after this event due to the large amount of heat and withering it had been exposed too. Alex was dismissed after that so he simply went to help the other dismantle the monster since it should go much faster with his aid.-

It did too as his very sharp claws sliced through the tough hide easily and the hunters merely needed to peel away the skin and remove the bones and flesh. The organs that were within the corpse had long since been removed and ground up as fertilizer for the new farms just outside the town. The botanical division simply hadn't been large enough to support the sudden influx of people so a legitimate farm had been made for vegetables. The method of turning organs into fertilizer was interesting as first the organs were baked until dry , then powdered and finally mixed with soil and animal feces.-

The stuff was extremely potent and filled with nutrients and energy for the plants which let them grow strong and quickly. Alex finished up and carried a large bundle of meat up towards the canteen where the chef was already waiting to do his thing. While that was going on Alex popped the six gems that had been taken from the monsters corpse into his mouth and chewed on them. He smirked at the twitch that the chef had above his eyebrow at the horrible shattering and grinding noises coming from Alex's mouth.-

He got three traits from the gems [fire resistance] , [pyrosis] and [toxirosys]. Alex already had all of these so they merely gained levels instead. The energy within the gems shot his [variant pyrosis] trait to T8 while his [toxirosys] trait broke into master rank at T7. His aura grew a bit but no one noticed and so despite having grown stronger by a small notch he appeared the same as before. The chef diced up the meat in this time and tossed it in the giant wok with peppers , onions and tomatoes alongside some seasonings before stir frying it all together over a huge open flame.-

In the end Alex was served monster fajitas that were practically dripping with fat and flavor that he devoured with gusto. For this next couple of days Alex simply relaxed around astera which was great according to the children who used him as their own personal play ground. The newer people in astera were concerned for their safety but none of the older residents batted an eye at the sight as it was not the first time it had happened and probably wouldn't be the last. There was plenty of food thanks to the huge corpse so Alex didn't even need to go hunting for any.-

Eventually though Alex got tired of just sitting around all day and left astera one day to go kirin hunting. The elders had been surprisingly active after nergigante and the troublemaking xeno jiiva had perished which was great for Alex to level up his elemental traits. Kirins in particular served as a great source of improvement for his [electrosis] trait that had finally reached T7 and entered master rank. This also gave him three primary elements in master rank which allowed him to grow once again. This time he reached the size of the gold crown nergigante at close to 23 meters long from his head to the base of his tail and 5 meters tall from foot to shoulder.
