章節 57: Excuses

On the contrary, Soran paced anxiously outside the doors to the enclosed bath pools. Much like other Wickans who enjoyed the quieter hours of the night to soak in the magical waters, he arrived earlier to reserve a pool for himself before it became overcrowded.

However, upon his arrival, he heard unusual sounds resonating from behind the closed doors of the bath pools. He assumed someone was in distress and pain, but when he drew closer, he quickly realised that his conclusion was wrong.

"You can't be serious." Soran muttered to himself, his hand freezing when he reached for the doorknob, hesitating to turn it. He pulled back his hand and pressed his ear to the door, closing his eyes to concentrate on the sounds. 

Figuring out the nature behind the sounds, he took a hurried step back, and his hand flew to his mouth in surprise.
