After Eric and his group had entered the village, the guards resumed their duties, conducting inspections and maintaining vigilance. It was worth noting that while the village's protective barrier could shield against beast attacks and to some extent deter beasts from entering, it was not entirely foolproof. 

Eric and his team proceeded into the village, and as they journeyed along the road, many villagers in their path made way and greeted them with utmost respect. It was evident that Eric held a position of considerable authority and commanded deep respect within the community. After a brief while, they arrived at a location that resembled a stable but was notably more well-guarded and elegant than an ordinary stable. They dismounted from the horse-like beasts they had been riding, and a cadre of servants responsible for caring for these creatures in the specialized stable rushed to attend to them.
