Wei Anning returned to the villa, too exhausted to wash her face or brush her teeth; she collapsed onto the bed and fell asleep. In her half-awake state, she felt as if someone had come in. She wanted to open her eyes, but she was too tired.

She struggled to open her eyelids, yet she couldn't manage to keep them open and promptly plunged into a dark, sweet slumber.

Leng Youchen stood by the bed, looking down at her undignified 'sprawling' sleeping position with a helpless shake of his head. He walked over, kneeled on one leg on the bed, and gently picked her up, settling her onto the pillow.
