She pricked up her ears to listen for any noise outside. After a while, she quietly opened the door and poked her head out to look around. Seeing no sign of that cold figure, she breathed a sigh of relief and hopped out of the door.

No sooner had she reached the center of the ward than she heard the door being pushed open. She turned her head to look and saw the man who had supposedly left appear at the doorway again.

He had changed his clothes, wearing a pink-striped shirt paired with black trousers, looking quite dashing.

Her heart panicked, and she turned to run back to the bathroom to hide. But because she turned too quickly and forgot that she was currently a one-legged hero, she lost her balance and toppled forward to the ground.
