Soon, Ji Jing saved up a large sum of money. She decided to leave without looking back so that their fake young lady could have them all to herself.
Three days after Ji Jing left, her brothers all went crazy. They begged her for forgiveness. A handsome young man appeared out of nowhere and pulled Ji Jing behind him. "She belongs to me now. Don't come any closer."
"Who are you?" Ji Jing's brother asked.
"I'm her fiance!" The young man replied.

This is cute. Standard lost biological daughter suppressed/ignored by her biological family in favor of the adopted daughter trope. The only two who are open minded about the FL are her father and eldest brother. The rest of the family are predjudiced against the FL for being a Taoist (rank superstition, don’t you know), being scheming (according to two fellow taoists who were jealous), greedy (the abbot who raised her asked for 5 million¥ for living expenses), and a country bumpkin (for not growing up in the city). The adopted daughter is your standard 🐕🪷 with an inferiority complex. Who the ML is, is unclear. Either the slightly spiritual Master Lin or the Great Demon Bai Ze. It could be Young Master Song but I doubt it. The world building needs more work and the background regarding HOW the FL was lost needs explanation. All in all, it’s very cute.

i loved this theme's novels. And this one turned out to be a little different making it more likable. The FL is not hungry for her family's love and affection. She treats better whoever treats her like a real family and the rest of the people aren't of her concern. Thus she doesn't make those stupid mistakes. As for why I said it is different this novel not only has ghosts but demon beasts too. (one of them is a potential ML) I'm looking forward to its release AND RAWS TOO.

Can’t believe the ratings for this book!🤬 4.5 stars for TRANSLATION?!‼️. Seriously?!⁉️ With what English grammar used to grade this? Did their recess teacher teach them English? Edit and proofread this book. There were repeated paragraphs in several chapters. Pronouns used wrongly on wrong gender. Names of characters are inconsistent. The grammar is increasingly bad as more chapters released. Why use MTL? We pay for quality work not for MTL. English syntax needs a lot of work.

I really liked the synopsis. The story is well developed. The characters are interesting. I highly recommend it. I would like to know why the translation stopped.

The synopsis makes it seem short and sweet, but we all know it will be dragged out forever with the same cliche story atcha as always.
The first two chapters were so strange and boring. I really tried, but I just give up. There is nothing interesting about it, and it's just so BORING!
This book is very interesting Her brothers don’t even know they are being used by the adopted daughter. Can wait till they beg her to forgive them
I loved the little Taoist. looking forward to seeing how faceslaping of white lotus goes. And the regret of her brothers and her mother.
The brothers need to be slapped ( hard) then again harder. The story is unfolding and I hope is picked up .
the story is decent I feel the FL is to selfish she doesn't have any cares or want except taoism until she meets the ml. couple of the brothers treated her bad saying some words based off what they heard from the precious adopted daughter and when they picked her up. the dad was good from the start to her but because these brothers said things even when she met the next brother (there is to many to keep track) for the 1st time she refused him a chance to even speak. she never wanted to meet her family so no matter how they begged or tried she was harsh and pushed them away she only went back because she was forced to use them as protection otherwise she wouldn't went back and she shows it. it never really said fully what happened to her but it has some that you know she was lost and uncle and aunt died shortly before that and some of the families memories were messed with but they never stoped looking and the moment they seen her on TV they found her. there is a lot unanswered on the family and what happened and she didn't care to question or look into it because she wants nothing with them i don't understand that. it not like others where the pretentious adopted daughter is always right even in the end they feel that she's good in this story The brother learned that she was causing trouble and she was confronted on it be it some were slower than others they all know that it was her causing trouble from the start. and there's not really much of an ending I mean you can assume and guess but has for an ending there's not one just leaving many things to guess except that she will be with her man and protected by him always but their growth at end is non-existent still.
