"I did not tell anyone the truth. I swear on the death of Corner." he said with an earnest look on his face, "i have promised you that i will never fight for justice. And the promise is more important than anything." Mary shook her head. Fear started to crawl in her eyes.

"Then who are those people?" she asked again with a calmer voice but he looked away.

"Tell me, Schoder!" she exclaimed when he took a deep breath.

"It was the crown prince. He and his fiance had come to know about the empress and the secrets of the royal palace, but i did not tell them anything." he emphasized when her face turned paler.

She gasped and  covered her mouth with her both hands and took a step back in disbelief.

"I should have known this was coming. Your sins never leave you. His sins took his life and now.. You.." she shook her head as tears started to form in her eyes when Schoder cursed.

That was the reason he did not want to tell her about what happened.
