Charles felt the subtle difference and it infuriated him but he took a deep breath and smiled.

"No! It is a suggestion. Or I am fine with explaining you right now too." he waved his hands as if asking him to start explaining what he wanted to say.

He had not called him to discuss official matters in the first place. When he heard that Alex had returned to the palace, he was joyous and wanted to meet him that instant.
