"Pick me up," she said to him.

Because of the threat, Qin Yufeng was quite obedient. He looked at her with sulky eyes but did what she said. He picked her up gently from the ground but when his hands touched her waist, Bai Liyue winced in pain. Hearing that sound, Qin Yufeng immediately let go of her waist and looked at her with concerned eyes.

"Are you hurt?"

"Yes," she nodded.

Qin Yufeng's eyes were filled with worry. His eyes scanned her from head to toe but when he wasn't able to see her injury dissatisfaction and irritation filled him. He bit his lips in annoyance and stared at her, "Where are you hurt, Yueyue?"

"Waist," she answered when suddenly she heard a familiar ringtone.

"What is that sound?" Qin Yufeng furrowed his brows and looked around, searching for the source of the sound.
