"Should I be?" Maxim sounded uninterested in that conversation but his damp-from-shower hand was enjoying itself as it trailed down her back before sliding into her clothes. 

Diana stiffened, ''Maxim!" 

''Honestly, sweetheart, everytime Director Qin visited, Logan would avoid him. And I happened to have noticed that,'' Maxim whispered, not provoking her further. His other palm cupped her waist, ''Have you lost some weight recently?" 

"_" Lost weight? She felt like she was gaining some. But that's not the point, alright? 

His first sentence caught her attention. His words were brief but she could join the dots. The last time they had lunch at Hazel's villa, Logan disappeared as soon as Director Qin came. Such incidents must have occurred before for Maxim to have his doubts about the whole thing.
