Ruby left Seth's chambers feeling like she finally had someone to back her up. All these years, she had felt so alone and utterly confused. But now, it was different.

Even though he knew that she didn't feel the same way that Seth felt, Ruby knew that she could cope with him.

But every time Princess Ruby thought about getting married to Seth, her mind would drift to Rudy. Was he still alive? Should she check up on him? At those times, she would be so conflicted because she knew how she felt towards Rudy.

It was a very long time ago, but everything about him, the way he smelled, the way his hair was, and his smile, was still embedded in Princess Ruby's memory.

Rudy was her first love and she couldn't feel that way for any other person. Ruby didn't think that she could. She still had hopes of getting back to him. 

Not until now that she had to put her kingdom first and what Seth could give her.

It broke Ruby's heart.
