Yuck! Why is there hair in my mouth? That is the very first thought I have when I wake up. The memories of last night run through my head. I look over to see Alexia still fast asleep in my bed. I lean over to get a look at Shikari and realize she is no longer there. I quickly sit up and fear explodes through my body. Did she regret letting me join her? My body is laced with worry as I quickly jump in the shower and get dressed. I walk out of the bathroom fully dressed in my black suit and make my way to the door when I hear a cough that makes me look at the chair by the window. Shikari is sitting there smiling at me with her hair tangled from sleep wearing the same robe she wore last night. “Even in the early morning light you are beautiful.” I mind link her so I wouldn’t disturb Alexia who is still snoring on the bed.
