章節 1: college admission

(Sound of the car moving)

Ankit: "Shravan Uncle, why did you get me admitted to this college?"

Shravan: "Your father told me, just before he passed, that he wanted me to ensure you got admitted to a college."

(Ankit's father passed away 15 days ago, and his elder brother three months before that. Ankit's father was a retired army officer.)

Shravan: "The college principal is an acquaintance of mine, so I spoke to him. He'll guide you through everything from here."

(The car stops. Ankit steps out and walks into the college, where the principal welcomes him and introduces himself as Deshmukh.)

(Deshmukh escorts Ankit to the classroom and informs him that regular classes have been running for seven days.)

Deshmukh: "This is the new student in your class. His name is Ankit, and he'll be studying with you all from today."

(The class teacher gestures for Ankit to sit on the back bench.)

Ankit: "Hi, what's your name?"

Lucky: "My name is Lucky."

Ankit: "Do you know what's been happening in the college over the past seven days?"

Lucky: "There was a fight between the Tiger Gang and the Nigam Gang. A few students got injured, and some are still in the hospital. Luckily, the matter didn't reach the police."

Ankit: "Doesn't the college take any action against students like that?"

Lucky: "I heard that one teacher tried to reform such students, but the students ended up assaulting the teacher. After that, the teacher requested a transfer."

Ankit: "They sound pretty dangerous."

Lucky: "Well, you seem decent and even handsome. Maybe you won't have to deal with issues like that."

Ankit: "Yeah, maybe."

(Ankit returns home, where he meets Shravan Uncle, who tells him about his younger sister, Richa.)

Shravan: "Richa doesn't want to stay with you. She still blames you for your father's and brother's deaths. That's why I'm taking her with me."

(Ankit smiles faintly.)

Ankit: "It doesn't bother me at all."

Shravan: "When Richa grows up, she might understand your side of things."

(With that, Shravan Uncle takes Richa with him, leaving Ankit alone at home. Ankit is physically very strong, but he is emotionally fragile. He struggles to open up to people and often feels afraid when faced with challenges.)
