章節 226: Did I scare you?

Karl who was having a hard time convincing Gwen turned his attention towards the commotion, widened his eyes when his eyes fell on Noah beating the shit out of a man.

"What's wrong with him?" he muttered and was about to go and stop him when Gwen thud sat on the couch folding her legs.

"Where are you going... Karl. Come sit here with me" patting the space next to him, Gwen asked him to sit with her.

Sighing in defeat, Karl looked at Gwen and then Noah with a troubled expression. He wanted to go and check on Noah but he couldn't leave Gwen on her knowing her state.

'God help me' he prayed and turned to look at Noah who walked away after knocking the man, and soon Alice followed him too. 

Relaxed he then turned his attention back to Gwen and watched her sway with her chin resting on her palm and her hand resting on her folded knee. It looked like she was thinking about something with her closed.
