Yang Feng immediately ordered, "Order all of the soldiers to be ready and inform the archers to fire at my signal"
Chen An half kneeled and said "Yes my lord" and left to rely on his order. The soldiers got ready while the archers pointed their bows towards the road silently waiting for their prey.
After ten minutes a group of armed men numbering up to 25 men were coming while being led by a muscular man. Without a doubt, they were the bandits they were waiting. These men were covered in blood and injuries. As they were walking Yang Feng shouted "FIRE" and the archers started to fire arrows relentlessly. The soldiers appeared from their hidings and started to engage the bandits in close combat.
The bandits panicked under the sudden attack the enemy attack and their leader tried to put up resistance "Kill all of them" he shouted.
The battle was bloody and with Yang Feng himself charging in front of the battle the morale of his troops was high while the morale of the bandits was very low.
After an hour the battle had ended with Yang Feng facing death of 4 goblins while men faced injuries but it wasn't too severe.
More than five bandits had run away from the battle.
Guang Fei approached Yang Feng and reported "We have found a total of 421 golds, 2430 silver coin and things which worth up to 215 gold. In total, we have looted 636 gold coins and 2430 silver coin and furthermore, we have also captured slaves numbering up to fifty women, children and men all together" without a doubt they had gained a lot.
Yang Feng immediately ordered a march towards their base. This order made the soldiers in frenzy and Guang Fei asked: "Isn't retreating to our village the best option??". They had already gained enough and even though their soldiers didn't suffer many death and injuries they were still tried from the battle.
Yang Feng replied "If we were to retreat this early our battle will alert the inhabitants about the invaders and they will improve their defence and stay on higher guard not to end up like these bandits. So we should get as much as we can right now while they are still unknown about us". Guang Fei agreed with Yang Feng with his plan and relayed his order to other soldiers to fight.
Yang Feng and his soldiers marched silently towards the base of those bandits to attack. When Yang Feng and his soldiers reached their base they found out they were putting on a defence. Yang Feng guessed they were informed by the bandits who had run away from the battle.
Yang Feng immediately ordered an attack on their base while they were still preparing but forbade attacking slaves unless they had to. The soldiers immediately charged while the archers fired arrows on them.
The soldiers stormed on their base while the bandits who were still unprepared were caught off guard and were killed. This fight didn't last too long and ended in half an hour. Yang Feng ordered his soldiers to rest for a while.
The soldiers had captured a total of 21 slaves excluding the slaves they had captued earlier and 7 bandits. Without a doubt, this bandit group was pretty big.
Yang Feng grabbed the cheek of one of the bandits and questioned: "Where is the treasury room??"
The bandit immediately replied "It is near the room of our leader"
Yang Feng said "Oh if so take me to the room"
The bandit took Yang Feng to a room which was decorated with many things but it wasn't too beautiful either.
Yang Feng asked, "Where is the treasury??"
The bandit immediately replied due to the fear of being killed "It is in that room" and pointed to a door.
The door was locked so Yang Feng took his sword and destroyed the door.
When Yang Feng entered he founded more than a thousand gold coins, almost six thousand silver, weapons and many valuable objects. Yang Feng was very delighted with the loot and just as he about to return he noticed a box in the corner.
When Yang Feng opened the box he was very very surprised to find a [Basic level Blacksmith's shop] blueprint. With the help of this blueprint, he could build a place where he could make weapons and other things. A blueprint of [Basic Level Blacksmith's shop] would cost 1500 golds on average.
