章節 1: Prologue
"Mr. Earl Eliot, My boss sent me here to ask whether you had any progress or not?" a middle-aged man looked like a hulk asked.
"We have a discovery, our Google particle accelerator in zero gravity shows signs of dimensional fusion, if we add a Yahoo proton collider together with the Bingo electromagnetic waves, we could discover a whole new level of Physics. It could change everything we know." the man in 50's explained.
Earl Eliot is now 53 years old; his name was pretty famous across the world. But his career ended when he started researching the Xbox Theory. He believed that there is a possibility of Time-reversal during gamma-ray bursts. (Warning: NERD stuff ahead) According to him, time essentially "mirrored" itself in wavelike structures in six Gamma-ray Bursts and the luster of electrons and ions 'emissions' which were spat out during a Gamma-Ray Bursts seemed to repeat backward from the explosion of a star. This led many scientists dissatisfied; many thought he was wasting his god given talent on a theory which wouldn't lead him anywhere. The higher-ups ordered him to research on the PlayStation theory, but he refused. He then got fired, and now he works under a GTA V Mafia boss.
(Note: Gamma-ray Bursts are huge bursts of energy formed as the stars implode and hence the Blackhole.)
"Mr. Eliot, I don't care about some accelerator or brake. I want an answer. Is it yes or no?" the man was getting mad, he couldn't even understand a 5th grader Physics while the man before him is taking about university-level physics.
The man in 50's sighed looking at the stupid buffoon, "No! We can't unless you buy me more of this meteor stones."
"Mr. Eliot, our boss went through hell to get his hands on this single piece of stone. So stop asking for more and show us results with what you have. Otherwise, you know what will happen. Our boss has invested 900 million credits in this project; I hope you won't disappoint him." the man said and left.
After hearing his threat, Earl felt like he aged another ten years. The threat might be soft, but he knew how cruel these people are. Due to this project, his wife and daughter left him. He's been living alone for 15 years; now because of him, his family might get targeted.
Earl looked at the 5-inch large rock floating in mid-air. Twenty years ago a meteorite came crashing to the earth's surface. This meteorite destroyed half of Antarctica; the strange thing was that nobody could put a scratch on the rock's surface. Scientist believed that it came from the Black Hole. It baffled everyone; its uniqueness made government and corporation fighting each other.
The Mafia Boss got his hands on this rock and invited Earl Eliot to be his lead scientist. Even after all these years, no one could unravel its secret. For Earl Eliot, this was his last chance to shine again and regain everything he lost. But now he felt like his confidence is wavering. After remembering the face of his daughter, he made a decision.
He took the whole piece of rock and placed it inside the Google Particle accelerator.
"Emma! Insert the Yahoo proton collider with Facebook as a diffuser inside the particle accelerator and for its quantity use everything we have," Eliot ordered his assistant with a grim face.
His order made everyone shocked because they knew what kind of reaction would happen when they get mixed, but no one voiced any concern because they don't care about death. Expect for Eliot everyone has been kidnapped by the GTA Mafia gang and made to work as a slave. For all these years there had been many cases of suicide, they don't care whether they live or die. There were a small number of people expecting a miracle so they could regain their freedom.
Emma started the process with a smile; she was grateful to Eliot because if it weren't for him, she would have been raped by the NASA guards. Like, everyone else she wanted to break out from this cage.
Eliot's face was grim. He knew the result if something wrong were to happen. Eliot made this gamble because he found that the stone in front of him should be the core of the meteorite. He kept this matter hidden because the GTA Mafia Boss might sell it to a corporation for a fortune if he knew this secret.
"Machine starting sound."
Everyone stared at the machine with expectation and fear. Suddenly a series of sound resounded,
"Boom"
"Boom"
"Boom"
The explosion sound came from the machine. The intensity of the sound increased every single time.
Most of them started vomiting due to the waves. Blood began to flow out from the noses and ears. It led to the panic situation inside the lab. After a minute of a continuous explosion, the machine exploded with a blinding light.
"Booooom!"
Eliot stood there simply as he was accepting the punishment for neglecting his family. But it didn't go as he thought. After the explosion wave, the time stopped. The broken pieces of glasses stood in mid-air. Expect for him; everyone was affected by the time freeze. He felt like someone calling for him.
He looked at the stone which started beating like a heart.
"Dhump" "Dhump" "Dhump"
He was astonished. He slowly walked towards the stone as every heartbeat sent waves crashing towards him. But he still kept crawling forwards.
As he neared the rock, cracks formed on its surface and with another beat it turned into sand, revealing a pure white gem.
Eliot was mesmerized by the beauty of the stone.
He reached his hands and touched the stone. As his finger touched its surface, everything around him turned white. Eliot's hands started burning in white color, he screamed in pain. He felt like billions of needles poking his body at the same time. His eyes became red like it was going to explode. And with another beat from the stone, his body exploded with a face filled with regret.
Eliot died by exploding, but he never knew the aftermath caused by his experiment.
