He is now back to his old cycle of running to be by Rina's side. He wanted to stop Rina's toxic cycle, in which he is used as an absorbent of whatever shit is happening to her. 

Using the mistakes of the fast as stepping stones to reach him, she claws at him, never letting him go. 

It is so many times that he feels like severing ties with her, but he always relents and lets her have her way with him as if he didn't it would lead to her cutting herself. 

He has no intention of carrying the guilt for the rest of his life. He has enough regrets with him; he regretted letting her take some weeds from him, as well as introducing her to people who ended up taking advantage and exploiting her weakness. However, it took him a long time to realize that, even though he had a part of those terrible things that happened to her--it was her who chose things to be that way.
