章節 34: Fate
As luck would have it. A few hours after Rex and I finished, I went into heat.
I am training the 8-10 year olds when the wave of fire crashes over me.
*Aqua. Training emergency, get here stat.*
"Alright we are going to go for our two mile run now." I say and the kids groan as Aqua enters the room.
*Finish their training, I'm going in to heat.*
*Damn you go into heat more than...*
I growl and she laughs.
"Okay kiddos follow me on the run. Stay together. Aether keep your hands to yourself!"
I run back to the pack house and straight to our room. Hopping in the shower, I run the water as cold as it will go. Before I can turn around, I hear our door open and shut. I turn to see Rex standing in the doorway to the bathroom.
"You've got meetings and planning." I say holding the shower door shut.
He growls at my attempt to bar his entry. "You know I can't focus when you're in heat."
I sigh and cut off the water. "Then let's make this quick so you can at least get something done today."
He grabs my face with his two large hands. His mouth finds mine and presses against it. Slowly his tongue parts my lips and explores my mouth. He growls a throaty seductive growl when I bite his bottom lip and tug gently. In one swift movement, he's lifted me into his arms and walks over to our coffee table. He lays me on my back and strips down to nothing. Erect and pulsing he kneels into the plush carpet. His member is at the perfect height for entry. He slaps himself against my slit and I moan loudly. Pressing the head gently into the entrance then pulling it away again. He teases me a couple times like this.
"Please." I say breathlessly. "We've got to make it quick."
On the word "quick" he thrusts inside me. I cry out as I grip the table sides for support. Thankfully it's made out of marble and steel. I think it'll support us.
He kisses my mouth before trailing his lips down to my chest. I shudder as he licks my nipples playfully. I wrap my legs around him and nudge him forward so he's deeper inside me. His hands hold my hips and he thrusts harder. I cover my mouth with a hand to stifle my moans.
"I want to hear you baby." He gently removes my hand from my face.
His lips graze my knuckle then he places my hand on my breast. He's massaging my breast with my own hand and I'm turned on by it.
"Play with yourself." He says as he's thrusting consistently.
One hand stays on my breast while the other plays just above him. His growl is so enticing, I can tell he's close.
"You need to finish." He tells me and I shake my head no. "You will cum for me."
He throws my legs up around his neck and starts moving at lightening speed. He's thrusting harder and deeper and I incoherently scream his name. My insides quake as I let go of everything I have. He does the same, deep into my core.
He pulls out slowly, watching our juices flow out of me. "You're so sexy Regina."
I smile sheepishly at him. "Likewise Basileus."
I get up and wince, I can tell I'm going to be sore for a while.
"I've only got three more meetings. If you need me, I'll be here." He kisses me before dressing back in his work attire. Before he leaves, he turns back at the door. "I can't wait to feel you again."
I blush at his words. "Go get some work done you sexual demon."
He laughs and closes the door behind him.
I shower then throw on leggings, a sport bra, and a t-shirt. As I'm tying my hair up into a high ponytail Rex re-enters our room.
"Round 2?" He smirks at me. "My next meeting was pushed back an hour."
Surprisingly I'm fine, no heatwaves on my radar.
"While I love you," I paused examining myself in a mirror, "I'm pretty sore and not heating up at the moment."
He smiles at me, "You look radiant."
I look down at my oversized t-shirt. "Thank you?"
"Well, since I've got an hour until my meeting, what do you say we check out the eastern border together?"
"Let's do it!"
We make our way down to the outdoor changing area.
"Good call in building this, by the way." I commend Rex. "Pretty sure you didn't want anyone to see me naked."
He laughs and I know I've hit the nail on the head. We shift and leap over the wall. Running toward the eastern boarder, I notice how stunning his wolf is. The silver color shines in the sunlight. His black paws are so cute! I don't say this of course, he would be mortified. They're also kind of scary. His paws kind of remind me of getting your paws dirty in battle. While I'm an awesome warrior (and super humble...) I always despise getting blood on my fur.
The stench hits me like a brick wall. Rex growls and stands in front of me.
*Stop.* I tell him when we've reached the border where my spell ends.
*Why?* He turns to face me.
*They can't pass this line if they intend us or our pack harm. It's a spell I had done for us.*
He tilts his head out of curiosity.
*Old habits.* I say hoping to avoid further conversation on the matter.
*I smell more than vamps.* He sniffs. *Rogues, zombies, humans...*
*Witches.* I correct. *Witches hide their scent as human.*
He nods. *My meeting is soon, let's head back.*
As we go, I hear something calling to me. An unwilling pull toward the other side. I walk toward the barrier. Just as I'm about to cross it, Rex pulls me back and growls. Three witches appear from behind thick trees.
"Alpha Regina Nox." They say in unison.
"We have..." one of them says.
"Something of yours." The second one finishes.
"Well, he isn't yours..." The third one says.
"Yet." The first one says.
"If you want him..."
"You'll have to choose...."
"Who will fight?"
"Who will die for you?"
I shift into human form.
"Look the whole talking one person at a time thing is super-" they vanish, "annoying."
Rex huffs and I shift back. We make our way back to the pack house. Shifting and changing quickly, Rex eyes his watch.
"I want to know what those witches meant."
"I'm uncertain. I need to consult Niveus."
He nods. Kissing my forehead, he heads inside. I head over to the school. When I get there it's dismissal. I search the crowd for Niveus. We make eye contact and her eye color becomes white.
"Niveus." I say and they return to blue.
"I didn't see them coming." Her brow furrows in confusion. "But I can see the conversation that occurred between you two."
"So who do they have?"
She shrugs.
*Ignis?* I reach out to him through the link. Radio static.
"I take it you know." She tucks a piece of her white hair behind her ear.
I notice the birthmark on her neck. "Your birthmark looks like a star."
She covers it self-consciously.
"For space." I think. "Where's Aether?"
She points to a group of boys wrestling in the school yard.
"Aether." I call and they all stand up abruptly.
They all bow and mutter, "Alpha." Then they scatter. Slowly Aether approaches us.
"Yes, Alpha?"
"Do you have a birthmark?" His eyes widen at my question.
"Yes." He says and blushes.
"Where? Show it to me." His face turns even redder.
"It's on my bum." He whispers but we hear him.
Niveus turns her laugh into a cough.
"Then describe what it looks like."
"Some swirly lines. My mom thought it was stretch marks when I was a baby." He shrugged then rubbed his neck, clearly embarrassed.
"I can tell the elementals before they're 8!" I smile, triumphantly.
"A lot of good that'll do you. None of us know how to harness our power." Aether grumbles.
"Excuse me but I can." Niveus snaps back.
"Oh okay, that's why you have prophesies but can't pinpoint one future."
"The future is always changing!"
"Quiet." I snap and they both close their mouths shut. "I have an idea."
