章節 119: The Confession

Delilah walked closer to the man she saw chained up in a room corner. The room didn't have much light, just a window at the top, and the floor was cold. It was so humid that the air did not flow easily. But there is a heater in one corner because it is winter now.

"You ..." called Delilah. The view slightly stuttered her. She got closer and saw the man. She intended to find the man's identity. The man raised his gaze and smiled at Delilah with a bruised face.

"Miss Starley..." the man replied weakly. Delilah covered her mouth with her palm. He was the same guard who had scolded her in the basement after meeting Oliver.

"Aren't you a member of Daga Nero, Mr. J's bodyguard?" Delilah asked, and the man nodded slowly. Delilah then lowered herself slightly. She crouched down in front of the man while sitting on the floor with one hand tied in a chain. The man stared at Delilah sadly.

"What happened to you?" Delilah asked with her blurry eyes.
