章節 12: Why are you being so nice to me?
The following day, Amanda got up early and after breakfast at the cafeteria, she was about to head for class when someone called her name.
"it's that guy from the cafe again." She thought"no, I don't want anymore drama". she said to herself as she hasened her steps but luck wasn't on her side as nobody could beat Charles at what he loves best 'running'.
"Aahh!!" Amanda screamed as Charles cut up with her.
"calm down I don't bite." Charles chuckled.
"what do you want?" She asked not beating round the bush.
"nothing, are you heading for lectures?" He asked.
"yeah before you stopped me." She sneered.
"Don't worry I'll make it up to you,trust me." He cackled.
"fine, can I go now?" She asked ready to leave.
"yeah...I mean no...I mean to say have you seen Ella, she didn't come for cheerleading practice not like I care anyways." He sulked.
"then why ask if you don't care." She enquired, curiously gazing at him.
"the coach asked me to and I'm just using it as an excuse to spend more time with you." He winked.
"you're sick okay, just leave me alone." She said as she pushed him out of her way.
"hey wait up." Charles yelled as he ran after her.

"Eliza." Chloe and Addie called running forward in order to catch up with her.
"hey girls,how was class?" Eliza asked as she each gave them a hug.
"want to get some coffee." Addie suggested.
"sure." She said as they all headed to the cafe.
"know why Jayson cancelled the party?" Chloe asked.
"nope." was Eliza's only answer as they sat down on the table at the far end away from the rest.
"that's never happened before, is he okay?" Addie asked Eliza.
"girls!" Eliza yelled.
"I don't know anything about Jayson, excuse me I need some time alone." She said as she stood up to leave.
"what about the coffee." Chloe added.
"maybe some other time." She replied, leaving Chloe and Addie surprised.

"Charles why order another bowl." Amanda argued.
"to take to your room." He answered as he opened the door for Amanda as they both walked out of the ice cream shop.
"you didn't have to but thanks, I can at least share with Ella." She smiled shaking the package.
"yeah."
"why are you being nice to me?" Amanda asked staring at him.
