Ayanokoji Kiyotaka has spent almost two years of the three he has outside the White Room's control. Approaching the third year all that is left to finish is the year-end Special Exam.

A week before the End-of-year Special Exam, Ayanokoji Kiyotaka mysteriously passed away. Unbeknownst to his peers his soul was extracted from his body and moved across the realms.

Ayanokoji finding himself alone in an unknown valley in his 13-year-old body proceeds to navigate through the world to survive in a world where the strong rule the weak.
