Kieran appeared in Clarissa's room to see her smiling into Leonard's eyes as he held her hand. A scowl formed on his face, wiping the relief and happiness he had felt. "I see you're all better."

Leonard had stopped smiling as well. 

Clarissa realized Kieran was angry but she couldn't understand why he would be angry. Shouldn't he be happy whatever the dark witches had planned failed and she survived. 

He walked closer to the bed, his skin prickling with irritation as Leonard continued to hold Clarissa's hand. His eyes turned cold "Leave. I want to be alone with her."

Leonard thought of refusing but Clarissa signaled him to go. 

He rose up from where he had knelt down by her bed side until he stood face to face with Kieran. But Kieran stood an inch above him, his eyes were blank like he was simply wasting his time. 

He left the room for them to have their discussion.
