"Right away your highness." She answered in a quiet voice.

Martha wondered what was taking her people so much time. If only she knew what the plan was she wouldn't be so worried. 

Clarissa walked out of the store completely undisturbed by the chaos and begging. It was all like a silent sound in the background. 

The commotion had drawn a crowd outside the store and the whispers were worse as were the stares. 

Some people tried walking up to Clarissa to confront her but there was something dead about her eyes and just something about her that rendered them silent. 

Then the store went up in flames and madam Cherie was left on the sidewalk howling like a wounded animal. 

Everyone else went back to their business and this time no one dared to disrespect Clarissa.
