The evening in the Garner household was lonely. After the whole chaos, they knew they were at war with someone. They didn't quite know who was the enemy yet, but they knew they had to be smart.

Maybe the enemy expected them to fold their card, but they weren't going to do that. They were going to fight and if they would fight themselves just to make sure their lives would be a fraction of the kind of normal they had been used to, then they would.

Aiyana was uncomfortable staying with the Garners.

Sure she was their family, but she had a life to live and people to hunt for her own good. She was going to watch out for her baby sister from a distance because that would be better than killing her stupid husband and landing on the wrong side of shit with their crazy daughter.

With Aiyana gone and their parents in their bedroom, the siblings knew they needed to talk.
