Maximus had given the Lords of the North 3 days to come to Winterfell, since it would only take a day for the Raven's to reach all the Castle's of the Northern Houses. That would leave two days for the Lords to come to Winterfell and swear their allegiance.

And if they refuse to, then they will be dealt with accordingly.

After the first day had passed, all the Lords of the North had received the raven's just as Maximus predicted. The Lords of the North immediately prepared to leave their castles and homes and head for Winterfell as soon as they got the message, though some didn't take it that serious.

Maester Luwin who is the Maester of Winterfell was still alive as he wasn't killed by Ramsey. When Maximus had arrived at Winterfell with the Stark boys, Maester Luwin was allowed to stay inside the Castle with the Stark boys since he was familiar with them and was the Maester of Winterfell.

Once Maximus conquers Westeros, he doesn't know if he will keep the position of Maester around or if he will get rid of it. The position of Maester was a very influential position to have in Westeros since they were known as scholars, healers, messengers, and scientists.

They helped the nobility of Westeros Govern their territories, but Maximus already has more powerful healers. He was more leaning towards allowing them to stay as Maester's and even teach them a few things about alchemy and medical practices.

Maester's have been around for a long time in Westeros, so keeping them around while also making them Loyal could help with the invention of new medical practices and equipment.

And also while Maximus has better Medical experts his Empire is only a couple of years old which is not enough time to produce tons of Healers and scholar's while Westeros has lots of them. This is where he will introduce them to new things that they have never seen before, which will slowly influence them to be Loyal to Maximus.

Leaving the matter of the Maesters aside for now in Kingslanding, Tyrion Lannister had escaped Kingslanding with Lord Varys after killing his father Tywin Lannister and his girl Shae who betrayed him and slept with his father.

Queen Cersei was now head of House Lannister, and she was also very depressed from the loss of her father. She lost her first son to poison, and now she lost her father who was killed by her evil little brother who she considered an abomination.

Now House Lannister was facing a big crisis as Cersei, a woman, was now the head of the family. Normally that would be Jamie, but he was the Lord Commander of the Kingsguard which means he can't be the heir to Casterly Rock because of that. The Kingsguard are sworn for life and are forbidden from owning land, taking a wife, or fathering children.

Many Lords in the Lannister land didn't like the fact that Cersei was now Head of the Lannister family and wanted her brother instead, but unfortunately they would have to deal with her as the head of the family now.

Cersei already knew that some lords wouldn't like the fact that she was now head of the family, so she already started seeking out allies from the Lannister Lords, either by forcing them by taking a member of their family prisoner or through other means.

Cersei didn't care, as long as she was able to get enough soldiers to retake the Seven Kingdoms. And her first order of business was to destroy House Tyrell.

After a few weeks of using her own ways of gathering allies, she used them to form an army combined with the strength of the Vale knights that were sent by Lord Petyr Baelish the current Lord of the Vale since he married Lysa Arryn. But that was only until her son Robert comes of age, that's when he will take over as Lord of the Vale.

Cersei used Petyr Baelish to get the Vale Knights, who would be a good addition to the Royal Army. What Cersei didn't know was that Lord Petyr Baelish, although he appears to be loyal for now, was always scheming for more power and influence.

As the Royal Army of Lannister soldiers mixed with Vale soldiers were gathering, Cersei had secretly imprisoned Lord Mace Tyrell. She planned to destroy House Tyrell while also paying back the Iron Bank the money that they owe them in hopes of getting the sanctions lifted on them, which has been causing the Kingdom to go in massive debt.

Taxes are at an all-time high right now, and most of the common folk were getting poorer from the taxes.

If things don't change, lots of people will die during the winter from either lack of food or housing.

A couple of weeks before Cersei started trying to get more allies, the Lords of the North had all arrived at Winterfell and were in the hall with Bran, Rickon, Sansa, and Arya. Maximus was sitting in the middle of the table, with Bran on the right side of him. Sansa and Arya were on the left of him, and Rickon was next to Bran on the right.

All around the Hall the Royal Guards of Maximus were standing guard as the other lords retainers and guards were standing in the back of the hall. While the lords of the North were invited here by Maximus to swear fealty to him, the atmosphere in the room was quite tense.

Nobody had started talking and everybody was just looking at each other and at Maximus to try and see just how did somebody, so young, become an Emperor and conquer Essos in such little time.

After a while, Maximus who was being served some tea by Aleanna had looked at Sansa since she was the one who would start the meeting since Maximus didn't need to talk and only needed to be present.

Sansa blushed, being looked at by Maximus, but quickly focused since she had a job to do, which was to convince the Lords to swear fealty to Maximus who saved the Stark family and returned them to their home. While the other Lords of the North did nothing except stay in their castles.

"I would like to thank the lords of the North for coming to this meeting regarding swearing fealty to his Majesty Emperor Maximus and House Stark once again" Said Sansa

Maximus continued to drink his tea without even looking at the Lords, since he knew that there were bound to be some who would not willingly swear fealty, but he was prepared for that.
