Knox waited, but Azrael only stared at him, giving him a look that silently said to understand him. How could he though? How could he understand something he didn't want to explain? Knox was conflicted.

He closed his eyes and pursed his lips tightly. Turning his back from the alpha, Knox said once more, "I will apply for a marriage license tomorrow. So, you have until then to think more about what you want to do."

"You can't apply for a marriage license alone…" Azrael whispered, slowly following Knox behind.

Before opening the bedroom door, Knox turned to look at Azrael and sneered, "I will know whether I'll be alone tomorrow or not." His words have emphasis and are sharp. He opened the door and stepped in, leaving Azrael alone in the corridor.
