Azrael clenched his fists tighter his nails dug into his palms.

For once in his life, there was something he couldn't achieve. Something that all his money couldn't buy, and someone all his riches couldn't blind.

Azrael snickered at himself. His thoughts weren't making sense. He sounded like Knox pushed him away because he didn't need those things.

'He did not indeed. His family's wealth is old money. He walked away because he was f*cking scared of me, of my family. Then, he went on saying he wouldn't mind if our son spent time with me! Pretty bastard, you don't make sense at all,' Azrael thought inwardly.

His head suddenly felt heavy. He grabbed the glass again and pushed it to the bartender, asking for a refill.

The fly beside him kept buzzing, and it was infuriating him big time.
