With the gap between them closed, Knox feared that his drumming heartbeat might be noticed by Azrael. He quickly pushed himself up, but his waist was held tightly in place and Azrael even pulled his wrist upward, sliding his body closer to his chest.

Knox panicked. Nervousness filled his system and he flailed his hands, but Azrael refused to let him go, "W-What are you doing? Release me!"

Azrael's enigmatic eyes bore into Knox. His expression was unreadable, and his lips were pursed tightly. His jaw clenched as though his patience was running thin and he was closer to exploding. Knox wriggled and tried to slip through his embrace, but the man tightened his arms even more, and Knox felt like his spine would break if he didn't let go.

His breathing hitched. His face flushed from the scent coming off Azrael's body, riling up the yearning he kept putting to sleep inside him. His stomach tightened from the hot sensation traveling down his navel to his groins.
