/"Alexis, what are you doing here,/" Cole's father says as soon as he opens the door. He looks genuinely surprised to see me and I don't blame him. I battled with myself for 30 minutes deciding on whether to come here or not.

/"we've got some development in Cole's case. We were planning on having a meeting at my house so I thought that I should get Cole there, but we'd love for you both to be there too/"

Can't say I was overjoyed with the idea, but My mom insisted, she told me that it was the best thing to do.

/"Oh Alexis, thank you for not giving up on him please come in/" the moment I stepped inside Braden Cole's dog ran up to my sniffing at my legs.

/"Hey boy, you want to show me where Cole is hmm/" I said kneeling down and rubbing him behind his ears.

The mention of Cole seemed to get him excited. After sending a smile to Cole's father I followed Braden upstairs. A serious case of déjà vu hit me as I stood outside his room.
