Alaina rushed after in the direction of where she has seen Ivar take Aria to. It was in the direction to her right but left to the main doors. As she rushed she saw Ivar inside a room down a long hallway. 

Just like the lounge and near the main entrance, aka the lavish foyer, the rest of the house was also very dimly lit, mostly dark and darkly decored on top of that.

Just as Alaina was about to enter the room where she saw Aria lying on the bed, Ivar came in front of her at the entrance of the room. She looked at him questioningly.

"What? Let me in. I need to be with her." Alaina pleaded her case but he didn't budge.

"And I need to do what I promised to do. But I can not do that with you lingering around." Ivar explained calmly with an even voice, not hard neither annoyed. But then again how long does it take him to switch to his angry old man self, not much.
