章節 57: Planning The Trip To India
After the break in incident,the excitement vanished and the house dwellers got back to their normal routine.
Since nothing had been stolen, everyone became stress free. It was only Igor who moved around with a grim face. Everyone guessed that he must be worried about why someone had broken into the house to steal the equipment connected to the listening device. It must be of some importance to someone.
The Police neither called nor informed about the present status. Probably they were not able to find any leads or their leads led them to dead ends.
Dada ji, Dadi ji, Nani ji and Tania were doing the round of the passport office and the Visa centres so that Nani ji and Tania could travel back to India with them on the 23rd of the ensuing month.
Early one morning Nikita called Igor to her room and informed him of her intent to travel to India along with Tania and Tania's grandparents.
"Mother, you could have told me to file your papers for visa with the Indian embassy?" Igor asked Nikita.
"It is alright Igor, Tania's grandparents are on the job and I want to visit India to see my son-in-law's home."Nikita responded.
"I did not ask you to accompany me to India as well as visiting the passport/visa center as I had a reason for doing so."
"You may recall that when we were to come to Moscow earlier, you had expressed your disinclination to come with me to visit Tania."she added.
"Furthermore, you might need to take care of the farmers in our Ukraine village."
"It is OK Mom!" He replied.
Igor did not want to say anything that was in his heart and mind, after all, he was a very secretive and scheming person.
"Shall we go downstairs for breakfast?"he asked, changing the subject.
"You go ahead and I will follow you in a few moments," his mother replied.
Hereafter, Igor left Nikita's room to go downstairs for breakfast.
He did not say anything the whole day as he had hidden his intentions from everyone.
Actually, he had quietly booked his flight for the 23rd of the coming month. He had also visited the Indian Embassy to secure a visa to enter India.
But his ticket was booked on a subsequent flight to that in which his mother, Tania and her paternal grandparents would be travelling on. He had managed to find out their flight timing and had deliberately booked the subsequent flight. He already knew their destination and he also knew that they would be heading to Kalibangan in Rajasthan, after reaching Delhi.
Unknown to everyone, he had managead to get hold of a modern simple listening device which did not need wires, and had fitted it in Tania's room at a in hidden corner.
He had got to know their expected date and time of departure and on which flight. He had bought his ticket for travelling on a subsequent flight on the same day.
During Lunch time that day, when everyone had gathered at the dining table, he told everyone, "On the 23rd you will be going to India but I will be going back to Ukraine on a flight that leaves within a hour after yours takes off."
"OK, That is good!." Tania responded and added, "We will all leave together for the airport."
"I hope your flight is from the same airport?" Tania inquired.
"Yes, of course."
"Actually, I wanted to go to India too, to see the people and places as well as ensure attendance to mother and ensure that she would not have to return alone to Ukraine from India. But I have a feeling that you all do not want me to accompany you."
He was now playing the sympathy card.
"If you want to come then go book your ticket as well apply for visa, yourself." Nikita retorted.
"When we were running around to book our tickets for the flight to India as well as applying for Visa, you did not want to do." She added.
"Now, you want to accompany us."
"Sorry about that mom," he then also added, "Can I be allowed to travel now?"
"Of course you can!" Dada ji replied.
Our seats are booked. You will need to get your booking done and approach Indian embassy for visa." Nikita replied. "We may not be seated near each other but you can be accommodated on another seat on the same flight and sit elsewhere."
Two days later, when everyone was sitting in the Library, Igor entered and asked for everyone's attention.
"I have got my booking done. Since the flight to India in which you all are traveling in, was fully booked, I had get my booking done on a subsequent flight that will leave 3 hours later."
"Great but that means we will need to wait for you somewhere?" Dadi ji thought out allowed.
"We will be staying in Delhi for the night at a hotel near the International airport. We will book a room for you too there."
"After the long flight, everyone will want to rest. The next day we are doing a site seeing round of Delhi as Tania needs to be shown certain places within Delhi."
"To tell you the truth, even we have not seen all these places."
"The day after that is a trip to Agra to see the Taj Mahal." Agra fort and other monuments there."
"On the third day we will proceed to Jaipur as there is a lot to see in Rajasthan."
"In fact India is a huge country and there are many tourist spots, monuments, temples that people from all over the world come to visit." Dadi ji added.
"To cover all these places, as well as those not in the tourist slate, is just not possible. The places we are planning to show Tania are covered within Delhi and in the adjacent areas under the administrative jurisdiction of the state governments."
India is like a mini world. All the religions, caste and creed, language, cusine preferences etc of the world are found her and all prosper. When utensils are kept in a basket some do make noise. All utensils do not make a noise but some utensils do make a noise when they touch each other. In a similar manner there are some people who do not want to live in harmony.
