While I planned on strolling the neighboring lands with my skeleton Griffon, I didn't. No, not because that wasn't a very good idea but rather because I had a lot of other shit to worry about. For one thing, I didn't know the lords and I didn't know just how bad they were. For that I needed the shrewd countess. And while I was fine with working with her, there were some problems. I wanted the count to come along as well but the dude had to stay behind and look after his city.

Whoever was in charge of town bell security, was kind of going crazy. He just kept knocking the thing over and over again. "Did something happen?" I asked.

"This isn't supposed to happen. We just had an attack you thwarted," Vivia said.
