After the rumors of disfigurement, Third Son of the Mccarthy, Xavier was very fierce and unreachable, which in process had been said to have killed two fiancées in succession, and no woman in the city dared to marry him. Every lady was so afraid of death being what they heard about this rich man but Maria was married to him.
"Woman, I'll face you later." He said to Maria.
"She's my mommy, no one can touch her in the future!"
No one told Maria before her marriage to Xavier that he already has a child talk more of chilren. Just after getting married, she was frantically completed by two little cute children.
Xavier McCarthy took out his two cute treasures with one hand and closed the door with the other. When he got close to Maria, he say down and said with a lacklustre voice.
"Wife, we should enter the main topic."
Maria seems quite confused and couldn't help wondering.
"I want to be the stepmother of two children?"
No one told her this before she got into the marriage with the man.
The handsome man smiled faintly, "First of all, you are their mother, and secondly, not two, but three."
Maria got really messy in the mind. She didn't know if Xavier was trying to say another child is coming or maybe he is talking about her giving birth to another child for the family. This was really a confusion to her. She seems like she's thrown into an desert were she knew no one.
The children weren't only her confusion her but, her confusion was this man seated in front of her talking to her as if he's her husband. Her husband was supposed to be disfigured, arrogant and forever but this man seated although they haven't spoken much word for her to know that he is arrogant or fierce but she's definitely seeing that he is not in anyway disfigured like it was rumoured.
She didn't know if this man is just here to test her or make her think her husband is a handsome man. Well she didn't care who the husband is, one thing she knows is that she's married to him and she wouldn't leave him except she dies.
Not that she wasn't scared of what await her in this new family she is. In fact she's super scared. She has always tried to avoid those big wealthy families because if how they treat those below to them. The McCarthys are the most powerful in their country and been part of them will be a big privilege but them accepting her as one is a very big issue. This was her worst fear. If they would treat her as one or treat her as a fill up for their burnt son.
