章節 14: SOUNDGOD FEST

"Thanks Coach Michael" said Grey and Enri as they helped me out of the SUV,

"Thanks" I simply said.

"It's okay boys, take tomorrow off to rest" said Coach Michael before driving away.

We made our way slowly to our room which was two floors up as we endured the pain we still felt in our legs. The worst part was that the pain would only become clear in the morning after the drugs wore off and all our muscles had been relaxed after a goodnights rest.

"Hyla" called Grey as he slowly put his bag on the reading table.

"What?" I asked.

"last time you said you had somewhere to go tomorrow" he said with raised brows.

I looked around the room as if searching for something as I tried to avoid his question, but I knew there was no avoiding this.

"Uhm… I'm supposed to go to a music concert or fest with Katrina tomorrow" I said in a single breath before shuffling off as fast as I could as I disregarded the pain I felt.

"What?!!!" screamed Grey as he watched me shuffle off, "There's no denying it he's very stupid" said Grey as he watched me leave.

"What happened? I could hear you screaming from the bathroom" asked Enri as he came out of the bathroom.

"Hyla's supposed to go on a date with Katrina tomorrow, to some concert or fest" answered Grey.

"Good for him" said Enri as he nodded his head before asking "Wait did you say Fest? Like a Music Fest".

"Yeah, that's what he said" replied Grey nonchalantly.

All of a sudden Enri's eyes started to sparkle as he became lost in his thoughts, he started smiling.

"What's up with your creepy ass smile?" asked Grey who was totally creeped out as he smacked Enri at the back of his head.

"Dude, don't you get it?" asked Enri.

"Get what?" asked Grey in reply.

"The only Music Fest tomorrow is Soundgod Fest" said Enri as he laughed.

"No way? As in Sound God Fest, I tried to get tickets but they were all sold out" said Grey, "He's way too lucky" thought Grey as he looked at me as I arranged my bed.

After taking my bath I picked up my phone to call Katrina, since I didn't even know which music fest I was going to?

Ring Ring

I dialed her up as the call was directly connected,

"Hey, Hyla I didn't think you would ever call me" she said as she joked.

"It's not like that, I was kind of busy" I said as I tried to sound apologetic.

"It's cool, so what's up?" she asked.

"Uhm nothing much, I just wanted to know which fest we are going to tomorrow" I said.

"Ohh, I guess I forgot to tell you it's the Soundgod Fest" she said as she sounding excited.

"No way" I said, "Grey's almost went crazy looking for tickets" I said laughing. "How did you get the tickets?" I asked.

"My cousin sent them for me" she said.

"Sweet"

"The Soundgod Runtown, himself will be performing, I can't wait to see Grey's face when I come back from the fest" I said chuckling.

Right not everybody knows about the Soundgod, Runtown, he's an incredible Nigerian Vocal artiste, he's a singer, songwriter and producer not to mention he has his own Record Label, The Soundgod Music Group. He has some of the best banging hits with major artistes in Africa. His music is mostly Hip hop, Afropop, Rap.

"It seems like you enjoy torturing your cousin" she said.

"No, it's nothing like that, I don't just enjoy it, I love torturing him whenever I have the opportunity" I said innocently.

"Alright, I'll call you tomorrow, I still have an assignment to complete" she said, "Don't torture your cousin so much" she said before hanging up.

I dropped my phone down with a smile plastered on my face. Blue who had been silent all this while finally spoke;

"So, what's this Fest you were talking about?" asked Blue, "I couldn't help but overhear you" he said hurriedly as if he wasn't really interested.

"Oh, it's none of your business" I said in a snarky tone.

"oh… I was going to help you with ease your pain so that you would be able to attend the Music Fest but it seems you do not need my help" said Blue shaking his head in a sad manner.

"wait, it's not like that" I hurriedly said. 'This stupid alien, since when did he learn how to be devious like this' I thought.

"Well" said Blue as he prodded me for information.

I quickly explained to Blue what the music fest was as well as told him about who the Soundgod was, in as little time as I could.

"Now was that so hard?" asked Blue mockingly.

"Well, will you help me?" I asked.

"Yeah, I will" he said before disappearing.

"Come down, let's eat before going to bed" said Enri as he came back with the instant noodles.

"Sure" I said.

We ate before going to bed on full stomachs after talking about how intense the pain from training was.
