My review would be the 10th one. So now you're rating will be visible to all. 😎😎😎😎😎 Coming to the story. Your story had a great potential and it is visible after reaching first few chapters itself. Full credit for that. You have build the characters well. I have fallen in love with the FL. Well saying anything more will be like a spoiler. The way you have shown in the present and the way you are now showing her growth and transformation from the past is really commendable. Since it's new and has a few chapters, I am not going to comment anything on the stability of updates and all because I know you have the potential to do it. And one final note more -> You have amazing writing skill. Don't you dare drop the novel. It now stays in my library. Keep Writing!!! Love Love
I just started this novel, only 3 chapters so far but seems pretty good! Also why does the name Wei Mudan seem so familiar....? Maybe I'm just overthinking it haha
Beautifully written, I can feel the author pouring their soul and breathing life into the story. The characters come to life so beautifully that they feel life like and real. Particularly, I like what the author has done when describing the scenes. The imagery is vivid and descriptive, allowing the reader to sink deeper into this literary piece of art. I recommend this story to anyone who loves eastern fictions with action/adventure genre. What captivated me to reading this novel is how it was written so well, you could actually say it was like a screenplay flashing through your head. Everything is clearly depicted. This is most likely a plot-driven story but I like to say it has a good character-driven part as well. I would'nt mind waiting for a good chapter to come 😁 Thank you author-san!
I love how the story started off with a clear introduction to what kind of role the protagonist has in this world and what responsibilities she has to carry out. I like how the historical background is conveyed through many details such as what they wore and society's views on women. I also really like how the protagonist is strong and smart - she is able to take control of battles and win them. It was really interesting that a fragment of the princess' childhood was shown - this let the reader/s compare her previous naivety to her present personality. It also shows that the princess had been attracted to swords and battle ever since she was young. The characters are portrayed very well - I especially like how the author described the Emperor - although he has a high position and a lot of power, he doesn't think of his daughter as his family. I feel that this part was a bit crowded: "Hua'er, you're crying. Don't cry. Mother said a lady is ugly when she cries. But you're not," Wei Mudan thought carefully, "Mother was wrong." When the author wrote 'But you're not', I felt that it changed too quickly from her mother's opinion to her own. Overall the story flowed really well and was really enjoyable to read. There was only one chapter, but a lot happened and all the events they were all closely connected and written in a way that made the story engaging. Good luck to future updates😊

This is nicely worded, I feel for the general and I'm drawn to her character. She seems to be powerful and a good person just having to deal with what life has handed her. I have encountered a few stories set in this ear and I feel the writer has done a good job portraying the style for the times.

Loving this story so far!! Our MC has this spirit about her that the author's creating through every chapter and it just draws you more and more into the story and more in love with the MC. Truly amazing work done by an amazing author, there's not one chapter that disappoints.
I've read the author's first work(now on hiatus though), and this is startlingly quite different from it. Congratulations on your improvement! There's only 9 chapters at the current moment, so I can't say much. The language used is beautiful. The author captures emotions very well. I'm very curious about how the MC is going to go against her mother. She's obviously very attached to her mother. There isn't a lot of character development so far, but then again it's still very early in the chapters. Instead, we are introduced to several distinct characters. The MC is a breath of fresh air. You can see that she grows up to be strong and fierce, yet she still has that slight irrational fear, just like a child. Child ver. MC is quiet and adorable, a stark difference from her grown up self(or so it seems). Update more please!

There are only six chapters, but the story is progressing well at this point. It started with the princess leading the army into battle and then, went back to her childhood. The writing is excellent, and the words flow nicely. I love the author's description of the scene, especially the war. So far, I love the story. I can't wait to read more and see how the princess grows to be stronger. (I hope there will be political intrigue later on). I am definitely going to add this book into my library.

The story wasn't bad its a good novel to be recommended to those who likes historical and action it sometimes can be exaggerated but every style has its own perks I like this novel and I would like to encourage the author for more updates..
Author-san here! Previously, this novel was known as IEIWE(Instead of Empress, I will be Emperor). However, that name was a mouthful, so the title and cover has now been changed to Blood Peony Emperor! I am also rewriting this novel from chapter 2 onwards, which is why it seems like there is a long time between updates. There isn't. I just deleted the other chapters. Previously, we were discussing the past of Wei Mudan, our beloved princess. Now, we are moving onto her future instead. Raise your swords and fight!
