[Hidden Mist Academy, Hidden Blood Mist Village, Land of Bloody Water, Five Great Shinobi Nations, Shinobi World, Naruto-Verse]
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
You know that thing we you start at the bottom and shit gets progressively harder as you climb? Well that little Bloodbath he did? It got him attention aye, but it also earned him more dificult training and no that wasn't limited to as he climbed higher in the Academy ladder.
Of course being the The Second Mizu's grandson earned him a bit of slack, just not enough.
To sum it all up, The Bloody Mist Village likely earned its moniker due to overstretched Shinobi who had been pushed past their limits and simply snapped. Hangetsu came to this conclusion based on observations of what the typical Academy Students were put through.
They were forced to run laps after laps around the Academy until they couldn't continue or they had to move to the next exercise, and before that they performed basic bodyweight execercises such as push and pull-ups, weight lifting and that was all done with Chakra draining equipment. At least one person died from each newly made group before this Physical exercises was finally over.
Immediately after that was breakfast.
Actually it was more fair to call it what it was: A snack on the best of days. Even WWII C-rations tasted better, well at least they had a taste at all...a lack of anything good. The Academy food lacked ANY sort of taste. Immeadiately following breakfast was the class where he actually had more than just one leg up on everyone else.
Basic Chakra Control 101.
What it was, how it was used and how the level of Chakra Control one had negatively or positively effected Ninjutsu, Genjutsu, and Taijutsu. They also were taught up front as there first Jutsu, The Hidden Mist Jutsu: Hiding in The Mists technique, which served as both their introduction to Hidden Mist techniques and Basic Hand Signs in General. Which of course they were drilled in almost religiously to perfect and ensure they remained a secret.
At that point The Caste system of Kiri came into play. Clans and non-Clan families who had been 8n Kirigakure since it's founding were separated from the Clan's and families that had been conquered and annexed into Kiri, why civilians and those from Servant class families were separated as well. The upper-class group was afforded better training regimens and more specialized instruction. The middle-class group had to fight for everything they would get, and once they got it they had to fight to maintain it's presence remaining with them. The lower- class group was given the bare minimum training and the worst equipment to boot.
Following this was lunch...of course they had to hunt down their own meal and often had to compete against the other groups for it as well. Hangetsu immediately recognized this for what it was, honing a hunters Instincts and also serving to potentially scout ANBU Recruits.
Immediately after that was Taijutsu training....which of course was hell on earth for the lower- class students. Students were forced to fight each other to near-death, and the use of Clan Techniques was strictly prohibited. The way you bested your opponent didn't matter, but at the same time if it was unique it got you something.
Han silently thanked his past life's Father for making him train in Savate, Kenpo, Karate, Jujitsu, Shaolin Boxing, Capoeria, Taekwondo, and Krav Maga, because it allowed him to effortlessly defeat most of his opponents, save one.
This one and he never were able to defeat each other.
That person was Yagura Karatachi.
Anyway following Taijutsu Training was Bukijutsu, Shurikenjutsu, and Kenjutsu. And the Instructors were especially brutal in this last regimen before dinner. Nothing less than a flawless performance was accepted, and that meant pinpoint accuracy, laser focus, and a complete and utter lack of allowing yourself to be distracted.
Following this was dinner, and at this point none were able to care about eating hard bread and cheese, with one Ration Bar, and A single cup of Water.
Hangetsu slept in a crammed Cell that by design could only fit twelve people, but was being used to House twenty two. Hangetsu slept in the corner, Meditating, with Shikotsumyaku protecting him. This would be his life for at the very least the next three years or so.....
