(Sorry for long chapter. I know you'll spend a lot of coins. Please accept my apologies for leaving so long)
It wouldn't be wrong to call this fight the battle of the ages. However, upon 'awakening', Hugo gave no fucks for that crap. He messed up. In fact, his whole life and existence was a compilation of mess-ups. Each and every action he took impacted everyone and that was normal for most people.
However the impact Hugo had on anyone throughout his life was negative. Hyena was a prime example. Alpha2 was a prime example. Ruki was a prime example.
All of his loved ones were currently at risk because of his very self.
'What would Genesis say?'
His only anchor. Genesis. The literal saviour of his own life. He wondered what the spirit of literal warfare would say about his destruction of life. No, not what he'd say. It was what he said?
'Right...'
What better way to come back than with a good fight scene!
The book lost a lot of readers and colls ever since I went on hiatus this time last year and tbh, I could have come back earlier but i only recently rekindled my interest and love in the story. I hope this book is able to regain readers because that would make me incredibly happy.
