Raven felt that he saw a weird gaze in Elendor's eyes. He didn't understand that at that moment, Elendor was confusing him with a masochist. 

"I suppose your friends will be accompanying you as well?" he asked.

Raven nodded. 

Elendor sighed, realizing that he couldn't persuade Raven otherwise. "Well, if you're set on it, then I can't do anything. Unfortunately, I can't accompany you since I'm already associated with the City of Flames."

"I have a distinct aura about me because of that. If I got close to the City of Tides, their players might kill me. Only independent players can even approach."

Raven understood Elendor's predicament, knowing that his association with the City of Flames would indeed put him in danger if he ventured too close to the City of Tides. 

"Don't worry. I won't need you to guide me. I just need a map and some information."
