As Raven approached the turn, the voices grew louder, echoing with a sense of urgency. However, his footsteps had alerted the group ahead. 

Their suspicion was palpable as one of them questioned, "Did you hear that?"

"Yes, someone's footsteps! Someone is here!" another voice exclaimed, causing a ripple of concern among them.

"See? I told you to hurry up!"

"Stop blaming everyone and listen clearly. It's not a large group. Only two people from what I can guess. It would be easy to handle them."

As the Forbidden Heir, Raven's senses were better than the others. The other group had no idea that Raven was able to hear their hushed words of urgency. 

His footsteps slowed down, feeling as if those people were going to attack him the moment he and Elia reached the turn. 

It puzzled him that these Players were ready to strike without even knowing his intentions or whether he was a friend or foe.
