章節 63: Her Favorite Food

"Sawyer, what are you waiting for? Hurry...hurry, try it while it's warm," Abigail urged him, eager to see his reaction.

The first time she cooked for him, she saw him enjoy her homemade spaghetti, and he praised her cooking. Now, it is the second time, and she hoped he would like this simple noodle soup, one of her favorites.

Sawyer felt conflicted about trying the spicy noodle soup. However, his hesitation slowly faded when he saw the excitement in Abigail's eyes as she looked at him.

Even though he knew he would struggle with the spiciness, he remained calm while holding the spoon and fork. He took a small taste of the soup, and the warm, savory, slightly spicy flavor instantly delighted him. His eyes widened in surprise as he looked at her. 

'Huh!? I can smell the strong aroma of chilies. Still, how could it not be as spicy as I thought? Even after she added a few fresh chilies!' he wondered while eating the white noodles and beef.
