Eyelash by eyelash, she peeled apart. Only to see the woman's warm smile. Fingers caressing the young woman's cheek softly. It felt like she was in heaven of affection. "Mother.." Asteria muttered as lips formed into a smile which everyone would like to see. 

"My dear, did you get enough sleep?" Lilith Scarlet queried. Tucking the young woman's hair back to her ear gently. "Mmm, I rested well" Ria spoke and brushed her cheek against her mother's fingers. Like a kitten asking for affection from its owner. 

"Good. Duke Lucas Callum informed me how you did not sleep during the trip" Lilith reported. A hint of disappointment could be heard. "Oh, well. As a princess of the Empire, messing up sleep schedule is nothing so you can't scold me" Ria sheepishly smiled.
